Fitter/Turner/Machinist

We are looking for an experienced Fitter/Turner & Machinist.  

The successful candidate will have:

  • the ability to work as part of a team
  • the ability to work unsupervised
  • the ability to meet time-frames and deadlines 
  • excellent technical ability
  • ability to assess work to determine the best fabrication, repair and reconditioning processes to apply
  • willingness to work over a 40 hour week when required
  • a strong commitment to health and safety
  • commitment to quality and customer satisfaction

This role will suit an experienced fitter with a strong background in general machining. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt their mechanical engineering skills to a wide variety of work.

As well as the technical skills, the successful candidate will have excellent time management and communication skills, be organized and be able to see a job from start through to completion.  This  position is generally workshop based but there will be requirement for the successful candidate to undertake site work from time to time

CNC Operator/Programmer

Ideally you will be a Tradesmen Fitter and Turner who has had the experience to operate a CNC Milling machine, but must be also willing to do lathe and manual milling, and precision grinding.
